Just like everyone needs water, everyone needs a good flashlight or lantern. It’s just a simple fact of life. Without flashlights and lanterns none of us could see in the dark, making storms and other such phenomena much more troublesome. Plus, if flashlights and lanterns didn’t exist, we might find it hard to make shadow-puppets on the walls of tents. Thank goodness for flashlights and lanterns!

There are many respectable companies making flashlights and lanterns these days. Some, however, are better than others. These three companies, above all others, have proven themselves time and again to be capable of meeting all of their customers’ flashlight-and-lantern demands.
StreamLight makes some of the handiest and unique flashlights this world has ever known. If you’re looking for something more basic or classic, check out their Stinger model. On the other hand, if you think you’d like to take a walk on the side of unconventionality, make sure to stop and pause over their Stylus LED pen lights. Their fantastic for folks of all ages!
Bright Star, for its part, makes a fantastic LED flashlight known as the Trooper. It’s a real machine that features a focused beam and 3-watt LED light bulb that can last for more than 50,000 hours. That’s right, I said 50,000 hours!
Finally, no discussion of flashlights and lanterns would be complete without mentioning RayoVac’s outstanding line-up, which includes their out-of-this-world RayoVac 6-Volt Lantern with Krypton Bulb.
